We're Mary and Adam.
A husband-and-wife team in Sacramento who started hosting because we liked making a place feel like home for someone else — and kept going because it turned out we were good at it.
It started with one cabin and a lot of weekends driving up Highway 50. Five years and nineteen Superhost badges later, we host homes from the shores of Lake Tahoe to the Gold Country foothills — some ours, most belonging to owners who'd rather not think about linens and lockboxes.
We've hosted every kind of guest — families, ski groups, solo travelers, first-timers, people with two big dogs. The job is the same every time: get the details right before anyone notices them, answer fast, and treat the home like it's ours. Because for a few of them, it is.
